Today I got my new rank, 4 years since purple belt. It has been the most challenging rank in terms of balancing life and training. In that time I have learnt important things on and off the mat. I started jiujitsu in 2013 and have been with Jean Jacques Machado Jiu-jitsu for over 10 years.

My deepest gratitude to my family for sacrificing and supporting my passion of training and teaching.

Amazing end to the term for our Wee Warriors and Kids Jiu-Jitsu classes. Congratulations to our students on their new ranks and more importantly their technical and emotional growth in Jiu-jitsu, the gentle art.

Our community grew as we welcomed new students. This underlines the strength of our program.

I once again give credit to our parents for their support and dedication in bringing our students week in and week out.
