The Friendly Angling Club
We meet every Thursday night at 8pm at our club house at 270 Murray Road, Preston. Come and enjoy a drink at our bar, supper after the meeting and discuss fishing related matters with like minded anglers. Occasionally we have guest speakers talking about a wide variety of fishing related topics. You don't need to be a member to attend a meeting - visitors are most welcome.

Some keen members fished the Goulburn River between the pondage and Molesworth . Yucky weather GK cooked up a delicately/Flash Ian braved the elements/ John O. And GK netted a trout each 🐟🎣 (Atilio and his grandson fished the Pondage and sent in photos late Sunday 🤨Thank you Members 🎣🐟

The Bag Out Brothers Celebrate Their 70th Birthday in Style
Neil and John Deveson marked their 70th birthdays with a guided fishing trip on Lake Eildon, thanks to a voucher for an outing with renowned Fins N Fur Outdoor guide Jesse Polkinghorne.
With compliments from Andrew, Mick Deveson and their families, the gift was intended to give Dad Neil and Uncle John a memorable day chasing large Murray cod.
The pair landed two impressive Murray cod measuring 108 cm and 99 cm. They both agreed the trip deserves a place on everyone’s bucket list, thanks to Jesse’s knowledge and accommodating approach as a guide.
