Women's Cricket

Another chapter was written in the history of the Bullants as our Under 17 Girls team took to the field for the very first time.

The girls faced Holy Trinity in the ESDCA Division 1 competition last night and celebrated a fantastic debut with a well-deserved victory.

Full credit to the team, who have improved in leaps and bounds under the guidance of our Director of Cricket, Amit Chaudhary, with valuable support from First XI Captain Vaib Deshpande and assistant coach Shihub Rahman.

The club is incredibly proud of what the girls achieved in their first match representing Preston. We look forward with great optimism to the remainder of the season and to the continued growth of women's cricket at Preston Cricket Club.

Match Scores

Holy Trinity 9/109
Vrish*ti Mangolia 3/9, Anvic Billa 2/9, Jia Kphli 2/11

Preston 2/111
Lakesha Ranjith 36*
Miheli Henaratharchcgige 24
Pokisha Joon 20

Congratulations to all the players on a memorable first outing in Bullants colours.

Next week, the team takes on Richmond Union at PCO. We encourage all members and supporters to get along and cheer the girls on as they continue their exciting inaugural season. 🏏

🏆 Preston Cricket Club Hall of Fame

Last night, in front of a full house, Preston Cricket Club proudly inducted six more greats into our Hall of Fame.

David Robinson, David Jeffrie, Ian Murray, Steve Hillam, Steve Molloy and Gamini Perera

It was a wonderful night of celebration as we came together to honour the outstanding contribution and achievements of these six inductees, surrounded by former and current players, family, friends and supporters of the Club.

The Hall of Fame is about recognising the people who have helped shape the history, traditions and success of Preston Cricket Club. Last night was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate their achievements and reflect on the lasting impact they have had on our Club.

There were plenty of great stories, memories, laughter and, no doubt, a few emotions as we celebrated six very deserving Preston people.

Congratulations to our six new Hall of Fame inductees. It was a privilege to celebrate your achievements and recognise your contribution to the Preston Cricket Club family.

A truly special night and one that will become another memorable chapter in the long and proud history of our Club.

A huge thank you to our current and former players together with family, friends supporters. Our special guests included Emily Demitiradis, Mayor of City of Darebin and Ethan Maratheftis from Ray White Real Estate Preston Mayor Emily Dimitriadis Ray White Preston 🏏👏
