🩵🩷 STUDIO CLOSURE 🩷🩵 a reminder that the Studio will be closed from mid-morning Monday 7 September while I head to Vanuatu for a quick break to visit family!

Reopening on Wednesday 16 September for the 5:15 PM Strength class.

WOW! 🤩 That’s a wrap on our August charity collection for Share the Dignity. A massive thank you 🙏🏼 once again to everyone who was able to donate tampons, pads or $$ to help those in need to manage their period with dignity! 🩷 I really appreciate you all helping this charity that is close to my heart 😊

Period products should be a right, not a privilege, and no one should have to choose between buying food and buying period products.

Our final tally:
🩷 141 packets of tampons (55 super, 66 regular, 20 teen/mini)
🩷 37 packets of pads & liners (14 night, 9 super, 6 regular, 8 liners)

Just amazing I’m so humbled by your generosity! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🙏🏼🥺🩷

And thank you to ALDI Australia for having such affordable period products that meant we could donate so many more packets with the monetary donations received.

* As mentioned in previous posts, tampons are always at a shortfall for the charity which is why these numbers are so much higher as that’s what I purchased with the majority of cash donations.

WOW 🤩 a massive thank you 🙏🏼 to my awesome generous clients … we are halfway through the August Share the Dignity, Dignity Drive collecting period products to help end period poverty. So far we have collected:

🩷 83 packets of tampons (8 mini/teen, 42 regular, 33 super)
🩷 26 packets of pads
🩷 8 packets of liners

27 of these tampon packets are from the gold coin drive that I did end of the March campaign where I missed the collection as the box was collected early from Woolworths – thanks again to you amazing individuals who donated some $$$ back then also 😊

Why so many tampons you may ask 🤔 for those of you that have donated $$$ instead of product I’ve been purchasing mainly tampons, along with some overnight pads & liners – because the Charity often falls short on tampon donations as pads are the highest donated product.

If you’re still wanting to donate don’t worry you have 2 weeks left to do so, the Dignity Drive runs for all of August. You don’t need to be a member of my Studio – aside from the 3 Woolworths in the Whitsundays, I am the only other Registered Business Collection Point in the Whitsundays - so any member of the public can drop off donations to my Studio 😊🩷🙏🏼

NOBODY should have to chose between buying food of buying period products 😢 If you’re able to, please help someone to manage their period with dignity. Every donation counts.

This August my business is a collection point for the charity Share the Dignity August Dignity Drive collecting period products for those in need – those fleeing domestic violence, experiencing homelessness, cost of living struggles & having to chose between eating and managing their period!

If you would like to help those affected by period poverty by donating period products during the month of August you can simply purchase with your shopping and drop off to my PT studio. You do not need to be a member to drop off products to my gym – just swing by whenever I’m open. Hours vary from 5:30am-6pm Mon-Thurs and 5:30am – 12:30pm Friday. You’re welcome to text me to see when I’ll be there 0405 186 523 as I’m closed during the middle of the day.

You can donate:
🩷 Tampons
🩷 Pads
🩷 Menstrual Cups
🩷 Reuseable Pads
🩷 Period Underwear
🩷 Maternity Pads
🩷 Incontinence Aids
🩷 Menstrual Discs
All products must be new in their original packaging.

If you forgot whilst shopping, you can also drop off a gold coin or 2 when you come to class and I’ll purchase products at the end of the month with all donated funds.

Imagine having to chose between eating and purchasing period products. Or using socks, toilet paper, newspaper, towels, chux clothes – even bread – to manage their period. Where is the dignity in that?! 😔

A massive thank you to everyone who donated gold coins back in March when I put out the last minute call 2 days before the end of their March Dignity Drive. We managed to get enough to purchase 27 packets of tampons. That’s potentially a year’s supply for two people! 🙏🏼 Unfortunately the donation box at Woolworths got collected early – so those packets will be added to our August collection.

Wishing one of my dear seniors, the lovely Kay Corskie, a very happy 80th birthday today!!! 🥳 I hope you’re enjoying a day full of celebration and being absolutely spoilt, my love 🥰🎉🩵🩷

This lady is a little pocket rocket — she might be tiny, but trust me, I’ve gotta keep my eye on her! She’s cheeky, bossy and stubborn … must be a Leo thing because she gives me a run for my money there 😉 But she’ll give anything a crack that I throw at her. She does not like to let anything beat her. Bloody legend 🙌🏼💪🏼

Kay started coming to my classes two years ago — originally my ABT class (abs, butt & thigh). Now, if you know this class, you’ll know it’s a LOT of up-and-down off the floor, plus plenty of squats and lunges haha! 🤪 And she just gets in and does it. She later joined my Seniors Cardio Fit class too. Kay also swims multiple times a week - total powerhouse!

Kay, you inspire me and so many others around you! Happy 80th beautiful lady, love you 😘🩵🩷 xx

How much fun was today! 🙌🏼🎉☺️ I sponsored the Blue station 🩵 (as if you couldn’t tell 🤪 lol) at St Catherine's Catholic College Colour Run today raising funds for the BMA CQ Rescue helicopter. Can I just say .. I had NO IDEA I was gonna end up that blue lol … 🙈🫣 having never ever attended a Colour Run before … I’m not sure how it happened because the rest of my Team Blue didn’t seem to be anywhere near as Smurf-like as me haha … 🤷🏼‍♀️

It was hectic and all the kids looked the same with white t-shirts, coloured headbands & coloured glasses!!! So I’m sorry to the kids I train, or the kids of parents that I train, if I didn’t see you haha … mind you sometimes I could barely see from the chalk in my eyes! Thank goodness someone got me a pair of those glasses!!!

Thanks to my awesome helpers on Team Blue 🩵 who made our station rock! 👏🏼🎉💪🏼 Sharani, Caitlin, Jess & Trish! We really had a blast at the blue station and I can’t wait to see the captured drone footage 😊

Over $13,000 was raised for CQ Rescue 🚁 from this amazing event, surpassing their $10k goal! Well done to all involved such an awesome cause, and a much-needed service up here in the Whitsundays. It was an honour to be involved, and great to see everyone having so much fun today! ☺️🩵🩷
