🏊♂️ The results are in! 🏊♂️
George has completed his first Australian Swimming Trials campaign, finishing with a point score of 444.
To say we are proud of this young man is an understatement. The nerves were as high as the arena he was competing in, but he stood up to the challenge and gave it everything he had.
Competing at the Australian Swimming Trials is a dream for many swimmers and an incredible achievement in itself. George embraced the experience, raced against some of the country’s best, and gained valuable lessons that will help shape his future in the sport.
Behind every race are countless hours of training, commitment, sacrifice, and determination. This week was about more than times and placings—it was about stepping onto the national stage, believing in himself, and proving that he belongs there.
Congratulations, George. We are incredibly proud of your efforts, your courage, and the way you represented yourself, your family, and our swimming community.
The journey is only just beginning. 💙💛🏊♂️

Today’s Sydney update…
No swimming pools for George today! 🏊♂️❌
The coaches, however, managed to make up some ground as they hit the shops around The Rocks and explored a few of Sydney’s beautiful surrounds. 🛍️🚶♀️
The day was topped off with a stunning sunset dinner cruise on Sydney Harbour, followed by the spectacular Vivid light show. 🌅⛴️✨
A perfect day enjoying everything Sydney has to offer before we head back to pool deck duties to.
“Making memories and enjoying the experience every step of the way.” 😊

Today was a day away from one pool and at another.
We made our way to Woy Woy by train and had the opportunity to catch up with the legendary Graeme Carroll. George was welcomed into a training session with the Peninsula Leisure centre, Woy Woy swimmers and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
It’s always valuable for young athletes to train in a different environment, meet new swimmers, and learn from different coaches. Experiences like these help build confidence, broaden horizons, and remind us that the swimming community is one big family.
A huge thank you to Graeme and the Peninsula Woy Woy team for making us feel so welcome. George had a fantastic session and came away with plenty to think about as he continues his swimming journey. 🏊♂️💙
