👏LAQ COACHING CLINIC👏

This weekend we have 2 Little Athletics Queensland coaches visiting from Brisbane who will be running 2 x 2 hour clinics focusing on multiple events (TBC).

TRAIN. LEARN. GROW.

Introducing our U11 & U12 Transitional Events Series — a brand-new athlete development opportunity designed to help young athletes build confidence and technique in three key transitional events: Triple Jump I Javelin I High Jump (Flop)

Led by experienced coaches, each session will focus on teaching the fundamentals and correct techniques athletes need as they progress through Little Athletics.

Athletes will choose two events to train in on the day, with 45 minutes of dedicated coaching in each event. Choose 2 activities for $30!

Brisbane - City North Little Athletics - Sunday 13 September | 8:30am–11:00am

Gold Coast – Runaway Bay Little Athletics Sunday 27 September | 8:30am–11:00am

Sunshine Coast – Caloundra Little Athletics - Sunday 4 October | 8:30am–11:00am

Each athlete will also take home an information pack covering all three transitional events, packed with handy tips to continue developing their skills. Open to U11 & U12 athletes registered with any Little Athletics Centre in Queensland, as well as athletes currently trialing with the intention of registering for the season.

Places are limited, with event selections available on a first-in basis. Build the skills now. Take them into the season with confidence.

After a fantastic performance by Ainsley Ho**er, it's now time to cheer on the second of Athletics North Queensland's three Commonwealth Games representatives!

Tomorrow morning at 5:15am (Wednesday 29 July), Lindsey Hendy (TNS) will compete in the Men's T20 Long Jump, proudly wearing the green and gold on the international stage.

Lindsey has worked incredibly hard to earn his place at the Commonwealth Games, and everyone at Athletics North Queensland is proud to see him representing our region and Australia.
