The Eagles wish to extend our condolences to the Shepherd family, on the passing of Rita Shepherd.

Rita was a strong supporter of the club. Her husband Rob was Club President in the early 2000s and both her children, Jacqui and Andrew, were accomplished players.

Rita and the Shepherd family, the Eagles salute you.

A big thank you to our wonderful community who helped double Chloe’s fundraising efforts within 24 hours of us posting.

She was able to exceed her goal of $1,500 to $1,687 thanks to your generosity. With those funds helping to relieve the financial burden from families being treated by cancer. Chloe also has donated her long locks to be made into wigs for children. Thanks to Nicky Whinnen for coming down on Sunday to help.

What a wonderful community we have.
