So tonight we farewell Queen Elizabeth11 as she is lay to rest with her beloved Prince Philip.

Prince Philip's coffin was interred in the royal vault — a chamber beneath St. George's Chapel where 24 members of the royal family have been buried after he passed away back in April 2021 .

R.I.P Queen Elizabeth.

The has announced that the Bass Coast Festival of Motorsport will take place at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit from 22-24 October 2021.

The V8 Supercars will headline the Festival and will be racing in the Bunnings Trade Phillip Island Supersprint as their lead-in event before Bathurst.

Over the next few week's more shall be announced however this incredible event will also feature championship rounds for both four and two-wheel Australian motorsport categories including the mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship and Porsche Carrera Cup.

The Santa Maria alle Scotte hospital in Siena released a statement on Alex Zanardi's condition. Zanardi - who lost both of his legs in a race-car crash nearly 20 years ago - was conected to a ventilator and had "stable" blood flow while his neurological status "remains serious.

After being transferred to hospital, Zanardi underwent three hours of neurosurgery and maxillofacial surgery before being placed in a medically-induced coma.

An official bulletin issued on Saturday morning by the Santa Maria alle Scotte said Zanardi had been "transferred to intensive care, has stable hemodynamic and metabolic parameters" following the surgery.

For now its a wait and see situation. Alex has been a fighter overcoming obstacles after the loss of his legs 20 years ago . Many a prayer is being said around the world for his recovery.

Im never one for fast tracking life however 2020 hasn't been kind to many. Lets hope 2021 is a better year.
