6pm - Total Beginner Drop-in class - all welcome! Perfect if you're brand new to swing dancing.

7:15pm - Beginner Plus - CLOSED For performance students only.

8:30pm - Intermediate - CLOSED For performance students only.

Our Beginner Plus and Intermediate students are in their final preparations for the big performance at Swing Patrol's Spring Swing Show this Saturday!

The 6pm Total Beginner class is running as normal - so if you're new, come join us for some swing dancing fun

All classes are back to normal from next week onwards. :)

Here’s a sneak peak at what our Total Beginners got up to last Thursday. 6 count with kick lands was the rhythm and we did a few cool moves ready for the social dance floor.

Two teachers. One mission. Fill Josh’s shoes.

Josh is off enjoying Thailand, and while he’s impossible to replace, we’ve recruited not one, but TWO fantastic teachers to keep the dance floor buzzing this Thursday, 20 August!

6:00pm – TOTAL BEGINNERS With Viet Nguyen & Sarah Wheaton. Brand new to swing dancing? This is the class for you. No partner and absolutely no experience required—just come along and give it a go!

7:15pm – BEGINNER PLUS (Routine Class) With Ernie Soh & Sarah Wheaton

8:30pm – INTERMEDIATE / INTERMEDIATE PLUS (Routine Class) With Ernie Soh & Sarah Wheaton

With only a few weeks to go until the Performance Ball, we’ll be polishing routines, sharpening technique and making sure everyone is performance ready.

We’re at the halfway point of routine season! 🎉

As usual, we’ll have a casual class for our Total Beginners. For our Beginners Plus and Intermediate dancers, we’re getting into more serious routine territory!

We’ve had a few people reach out to ask whether it’s still okay to join the routine classes at this point in the season, and the answer is YES! As long as you’re happy with the pace and potentially needing to catch up on some choreography, you’re very welcome to jump in. 😊

That said, we’ll be doing plenty of recaps over the coming weeks, so there will be lots of opportunities to pick up choreography that’s already been taught.

And remember - you don’t have to learn the routine with the goal of performing it. You can also learn a routine simply to help embed transitions, build confidence, and cement your basics. Some dancers are learning a routine knowing they won’t be performing it at the end of the season, and that’s absolutely fine!
