Ida Strichen (QWBC Secretary) and Kay Ryman (QWBC Treasurer) are pictured here with some of the newly purchased scoreboard numbers which have needed replacing for some time.
A motion was put before the Ladies monthly meeting and was carried to purchase the numbers. The Quirindi Bowling Club greatly appreciate the gesture and thank the Quirindi Women's Bowling Club.

Welcome to the Quirindi bowls report.
This weekend, May 14 and 15, the annual Open Triples Carnival will be held and at the present time, twenty-eight teams from many parts of the state have nominated. The carnival has been well supported by local businesses and the Club management thanks Clarkes Earthmoving, Quirindi Pharmacy, Peter and Tracie Hird, Pursehouse Rural and Tooheys for sponsoring the event.
Play will commence at 9 a.m. on Saturday with five games of twelve ends to be played over the two days. Three games on Saturday and two on Sunday.
The final of the 2022 Club Singles championship was played on Saturday afternoon with Club stalwart Rob Gardiner claiming his first major singles title over “newcomer” Phil Webb 25-17, played

scored fourteen shots to Rob’s one over the next eight ends to reduce the margin to two shots before Rob scored threes over the next two ends to take the 2022 title 25-17. Well done Rob on
