Wow, many thanks to the over 90 people who have taken the leap across to our new page.

We're getting quite excited about the night shoot on Saturday 26th of September. The plan is to start at 3pm and shoot 2 rounds, followed by a barbecue provided by the fantastic team from Willow Tree Lions. After dinner and sundown the second 50 targets will be shot under lights.

Nominations will be the usual $50 for 100 targets, camping will be available on both sides of the road. The grounds will be open for campers from Friday afternoon.

An informal 50 target shoot will be held on the Sunday morning if there is sufficient interest. Please message me if you want to play. No prizes, just a bit of fun, $30 nominations. This should give us time to pull down the course and give everyone an early start to get home after a fun weekend.

A reminder that the Charity shoot will be held on October 25th, our charity benefactor will be Westpac Helicopter Rescue.

The recommended method of nomination is MyClubMyScore, I'll be opening the pre Nominations on Sunday 20/9/2026. If you have any questions or problems nominating please call me.

Don't forget, I won't be posting to this page after the 15th of October.

Hi everyone,
We've now got 55 followers in 24 hours on Quirindi Sporting Clays, if you want to keep up to date with the activities of the club please search for Quirindi Sporting Clays and click on follow. The sooner we can get this done, the sooner I can stop posting to this page.

Hi everyone, I've been trying to clean up the feed on our page and it's too big a job, the decision has been taken to set-up a new page for the Club. Our new page will be Quirindi Sporting Clays. Please join us there, I will be posting to both pages for the next month or so, then we will stop using this one.

Hopefully, this will make it easier to keep in touch with what we are doing and other clubs and businesses that are part of the Sporting Clays community.

Hi everyone,
Given that it has been a long while since we've had a night shoot, the Committee feel that the planning for this event needs to be a little different, this months meeting is planned for Wednesday evening 9 September, starting with our usual chinese meal at the Quirindi Bowling Club at 6pm, after which we will head out to the Club to check on the lights and work on a course for the 26th/27th, everybody is, as usual, welcome to attend.

The plan for the shoot is 50 Clays before dinner, a BBQ dinner, provided as usual by the Willow Tree Lions, then 50 targets under lights. Camping will be available. If there is sufficient interest we will hold an informal 50 target shoot on Sunday morning, as well, please let us know if you want to participate.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the day. We always appreciate help from our members for setting up and pulling down

Yesterday provided fabulous weather for a great day in pursuit of Sporting Clays, a great performance by Andrew Garvie for a total of 95/100 for High Gun, Terry Dawson won AA Grade with 88/100 on a count back, hard not to with 25/25 as your last round, A Grade was Shane Raulston on 82/100 on a count back, Logan Phillip won B Grade with 71/100 and perhaps the star of the day was Junior member, Will Buchan who won C grade with 59/100.

To top the day off we also had four new members join the Club.

The August shoot will be on Sunday the 23 of August, all volunteers welcome to come and help setup on the 22nd.

The Committee have moved our Annual Charity Shoot to October to enable a fun night shoot in September. Nominations for the Charity shoot are open as of tonight.

More details on the night shoot as they come to hand.

Hi everyone,
Our next shoot is on Sunday the 26th starting as usual, we would like to remind all members that the Saturday prior is setup day, set up usually starts 8:30 and if there are enough volunteers it can be finished before lunch. The Committee very much appreciate the help from the volunteers, but we need to remind you all that the club is for the members and the more that you contribute the more enjoyment we all gain.

Volunteer jobs can involve all sorts of things from mowing the lawns to helping set up the traps for each station. If done in the right manner it can be an enjoyable day.

The regular monthly meeting will be at the Quirindi Bowling Club on Wednesday the 23 with an early dinner followed by a quick meeting. Good fellowship and not very formal.

A reminder for those who've not finalised their membership can you please do so as soon as possible.

I'll set up the next shoot on MCMS over the weekend and pre-nominations will open on Monday.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there for a great shoot.

A fabulous day out at Quirindi Sporting Clays on Sunday, a team of novice course setters won lots of compliments for a great course. Congratulations go to all of the following Lance North for a fantastic 97/100, then a bit of a gap to Tony Shorten winning AA with 89/100 on a count back. Bill Hodges on 77/100 took out A grade again on a count back, with Glen Auld taking B grade with 67/100 and John McKinnon getting C grade with 57/100. Will Buchan took out the Juniors with 35/100 on his second shoot.

The weather was fantastic and all participants had a great time, two beginners who shot for the first time and reckon they'll be back for more.

Our Club shoots are on the fourth Sunday of each month, if you think that it's a long way to come we have fantastic camping facilities, touch base and let us know if that is of interest.

Members don't forget that your renewals are due in next month, if you're missing a form please touch base and I'll send one out.

If anyone wants to join, let me know and I'll send a form.
