Enjoying the step up in trip and grade, Gridlock rose to the challenge under a well-judged ride from Rory Hutchings , who had him travelling comfortably before asking him to finish the job.

Thriving on the Gold Coast, the 7yo put in an excellent performance yesterday at Eagle Farm/Doomben to secure consecutive wins since joining the stable.

Stepping up in both distance and benchmark grade, the Darby Racing Syndications gelding rose to the challenge under a strong ride from our apprentice Jace Mcmurray to keep his winning momentum rolling.

From Group 1 glory to the equestrian arena! 🏇

Michael Freedman Racing is proud to sponsor our Racing Manager Sophie Johnson and our 2023 Group 1 Randwick Guineas winner Communist for Equimillion 2026.

The pair will compete in the eventing and showjumping at Sydney International Equestrian Centre this October long weekend.
