CLV Club Series #05 2026/27 - Rawson Cricket Club

The next instalment in this series, is highlighting The Burras.
After going into hiatus in 2018, the club was reborn in 2021/22 and after a couple of years finding their feet in C Grade, achieved promotion to Premier C in 2024/25 as runners up to Churchill. Following promotion, the pair faced off in last year's semi final with Rawson exacting a level of revenge on the Cobras to advance to the Grand Final where they were ultimately undone by Moe.

The Burras will once again field their sole senior side in Premier C Grade and look to go one better in 2026/27. The club had a promising cricket blast program last season and actively looking to continue to grow that to feed future junior competition sides.

This summer, the Mighty Burras are bringing 10 weeks of Woolworths Cricket Blast to Rawson — and even better… it’s FREE for all participants! 🙌🎉

Behind the scenes, our President - Ben Brouwer has been working closely with Dylan Grandell from Cricket Victoria to make sure our local kids can get involved, have a crack at cricket, learn some new skills and most importantly - have a whole lot of fun! 🏏

Rawson Cricket Club is teaming up with Rawson Primary School to bring you a COMMUNITY KIDS DISCO! 💃🕺

Get ready to GLOW CRAZY WITH NEON NIGHTS 🌈✨ with DJ BOOM bringing the tunes, games, prizes and plenty of fun!

A new season starts THIS THURSDAY, 3RD SEPTEMBER with our first training session of 2026/27! 🏏

Whether you’re a returning Burra or thinking about pulling on the Rawson colours for the first time, we want you there. Current and new players are all welcome! 💚💛
