A strong wind warning has been issued for the Gippsland Lakes for Friday July 3. For safety reasons Ride the Koalas will not be hiring out our surrey bikes tomorrow. We are open today, Saturday and every other school holiday day when weather permits.

AND THAT’S A WRAP FOR SUMMER 2026 ☀️🌿

What a fun season it’s been, sharing Raymond Island with visitors and locals who took the time to slow down, unwind and explore our special little place.

We’re truly grateful for the respect shown to our wildlife and our community — it makes a real difference. We’ve loved the many conversations and connections along the way… and we’ll definitely miss the laughter of families working together to ride the surrey bikes!

We’re now taking a short break and will be back for the King’s Birthday long weekend in June and the July school holidays — refreshed, recharged, and ready to go with a new bike or two and plenty of energy 🚲

If you’re planning a visit, keep us in mind — we’d love to see you.

What better way to celebrate Spring than enjoying a surrey bike tour of Raymond Island. Ride the Koalas is now open weekends, public holidays and school holidays until the end of April 2026 . Weather permitting that is.
10 am to 4 pm Saturdays and Sundays - no bookings. Find us at the corner of Sixth and Seventh Ave - near the beginning of the Koala Trail.
