After returning junior cricket to Medowie in 2025, we've grown again for 2026 just as our Pythons Towards 2030 plan envisioned, with two junior sides taking the field today at Lakeside v Merewether and Newcastle City!

For some, it's a return from last year, building on skills learnt, and for others, a first time playing "real cricket", making friends and having fun along the way!

Go well Pythons, I know you'll do us proud!

Thanks to our junior partners for their support of our junior program - Peak Performance Cricket () and of course WHS Consulting Hunter!

Our Round 1 Teams brought to you by Matchday Partner Fast solutions Newcastle

Only two grades will take the field today, 2nd XI head to Liles Oval to take on Redhead, whilst our all conquering 3rd XI kick off their season with a trip to Harold Knight Sports Complex to take on Cricket Southern Lakes.

Due to AFL Masters being hosted in Newcastle over the past fortnight, our originally scheduled match at Carrington vs Merewether in Division 1 was rescheduled to King Park 5. Unfortunately, due to the Koori Knockout, Port Stephens Council has underatken remediation works on our oval and it is unfit for play.
