One of our lifeguards, Chris, is also the Community Engagement Coordinator at Red Nose and supports bereaved parents after the death of a baby or child.

He’a been selected as a finalist in the Westfields Local Heroes Awards for Carindale (where the Red Nose office is)

If awarded the $20,000 grant, we would put it to good use supporting newly bereaved parents here in Southeast Queensland and expanding the bereaved dads futsal team he started after the death of his son, Liam in 2022
