Sessions are timed to suit the surf and the tides and the ages of the surfers. The ocean changes daily and we teach you how all our local beaches work. The original surf school in Newcastle to offer reduced class sizes was established in 2004. My focus is on teaching you how to surf not just stand up on the board. There's so much more to surfing than you think and it's a lifelong passion that I'm sharing with you. Formerly 'Redhead Mobile Surf School' still owned and operated by Miles Niddrie, Professional Level 2 Surf coach and Level 1 SUP coach. Open all year round including winter. Sponsors:

Yes it’s the cooler times of the year but we still have our NRMA Insurance SurfGroms holiday programs available. We supply full length 4/3mm winter wetsuits to keep the groms toasty warm.
First week 3 lesson program starts Monday September 28th. Ages 5-12.

Surf safety, confidence building, correct technique for beginners to intermediate 13-18yrs
We supply board and wetsuit or bring your own.

1.5hrs each session, Tuesday 7th Wednesday 8th Thursday 9th on the first week
Monday 13th Tuesday 14th Wednesday 15th second week
start times vary with tides and beach, we use blacksmiths or caves. So I’ll advise closer when we know what the surf conditions are
