TURF POSTCARDS 🌅🌅
A little reflection on the weekend because I honestly don’t think you all realise just how proud you should be of yourselves.
To every single person who represented Suburban at Turf Games this weekend, I am so incredibly proud of you.
To our Everyday teams, you dealt with weather delays, mud, workout changes and a MASSIVE day, with some of you not hitting your final workout until 7pm. And you still got out there and gave it 100%.
I really want you to understand that not everyone can do that.
To wait around all day, tired, sore and exhausted, and still be able to switch it back on and give everything you have that late at night takes something. You should be so proud of yourselves just for getting back out there and doing it.
To our Elite team, none of us chose Elite 😂 but you know what? We did it. We held our own and represented Suburban at the highest standard. Beautiful reps, beautiful teamwork, and six people willing to get out there, back themselves and give it a red-hot crack against some seriously good athletes.
And to our Intermediate teams, you held the Suburban standard across every single workout. Your movement, your reps, your synchro, your teamwork. You didn’t drop the standard when things got hard, and watching you represent our gym in those heats made me so bloody proud.
But more than any placing, score or leaderboard, it was the way you all represented Suburban.
You supported each other.
You worked hard.
You moved well.
You backed your teammates.
And you kept showing up regardless of what the weekend threw at you.
That’s the standard.
Rest up.
Enjoy a little break.
Be proud of what you just did. 🤍
Then we get back to work.
Bigger goals. Better every session.
SUBURBAN. SETTING THE STANDARD.
