We’re excited to announce the 2026/27 PRLAC Track & Field Season Calendar and Event Programs! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

• Welcome & Come & Try Week – Saturday 12 September, 9am–11am, for new families and returning athletes wanting to dust off the cobwebs ahead of the season.
• 16 weeks of centre competition, with the new season officially commencing Saturday 3 October.
• Two Friday night Twilight programs on 11 December and 15 January.
• Themed rounds including Halloween, Coles Community Round, the Christmas Celebration and GFA Relayathon all return!
• A contingency week has been included for Friday 5 March, providing flexibility if weather causes cancellations. A decision will be made by mid-February on whether this week proceeds.
• Centre Championship Weekend and the 10th Preston Reservoir Gift will be held on Friday 12 & Saturday 13 March. 🏆
• Presentation Day & AGM will be held on the weekend of 20–21 March, with further details to be confirmed.
• LAVIC is hosting a Coaches and Volunteers workshop at Edwardes Lake on Sunday 18 October offered FREE of charge to our families.
• To help share the workload, age groups have been allocated to assist with set-up each week, rather than relying on the same few volunteers (check calendar for your allocated week)

Following our recent growth and feedback, we’ve also revamped our event programs into a three-week A, B & C rotation complementing our On Track program for U6 & U7 athletes, providing more opportunities to participate in a variety of events. New additions to the program include Turbo Javelin for U10 athletes, the return of 60m Hurdles and High Jump Scissor (post-Christmas) for U8 athletes.

Our friendly team will be on hand to answer your questions and provide everything you need to know about getting started ahead of the new season in October.
