Welcome Hope Rowe, iceHQ’s newest private ice skating coach ⛸️
Hope is a competitive Senior Women’s Figure Skater having represented
South Australian Ice Skating Association and Ice Skating Australia at local
and international events.
Hope has completed her APSA Accreditations; Level 0 (Community Level Coach) and Level 1 (Singles, Pairs, Dance and Synchro)
Hope also holds Certificate III in Fitness (Group Fitness Instructor), and is currently studying a Bachelors of Nutrition Science.
Beginning ice skating at eight years old, Hope finds enjoyment and adventure in the competitive world of ice skating and is eager spark the same passion in the next generation of athletes by sharing the skills developed through her skating.

It's still Winter but Summer has arrived early at iceHQ ⛸️😊☀️
We would like to welcome our newest ice skating coach Summer Wolchyn, APSA accredited Level 1, now taking private lesson bookings at iceHQ.
Holding a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, Summer is passionate about helping skaters of all ages and abilities achieve their goals. With a passion for strength and conditioning her background in athletic development and injury prevention helps support skaters both on and off the ice, building strong foundations for longterm success.
Originally from Canada, Summer has been ice skating since she was 7 years old, and competing since the age of 11. In 2024 she became the 2024 Victorian State Champion – Adult Gold Women 🏆
Each private session is tailored to the individual, creating a positive and supportive environment where skaters can build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy the journey.

iceHQ would like to welcome Claire Adam as our newest figure skating coach ⛸️🤗
You man know Claire as one of our long-term staff members, now an APSA Accredited Level 1 Coach, Claire is offering private ice skating lessons at iceHQ.
Part of the figure skating community for over 10 years, Claire has represented Victoria in both singles and synchronised skating. She is an Australian Champion and international synchronised skating representative, and brings a depth of experience, enthusiasm and passion to every session.
Claire is passionate about helping skaters build confidence, develop strong technical skills, and enjoy every step of their skating journey.

Introducing iceHQ’s new Free Skate Off-Ice class for high-level figure skaters ⛸️
Running Saturday mornings after Free Skate lessons, this class is the perfect addition for skaters in Free Skate 1 and above to work on their strength, power & mobility in a way that is designed to translate to their on-ice performance.
Off-ice is an integral part of any figure skater’s training program to polish their jump technique and body positioning, build strength and stability in difficult spin positions, and improve their overall endurance and power to meet the sports technical and athletic demands.
These 45 minute sessions will be split between strength & conditioning, flexibility, mobility, body coordination, jump technique, and spin positioning. Designed for students wanting to take their skating to the next level and see more confidence, control, and power on the ice.
This fantastic opportunity will be run by Coach Claire from 10:15am-11am in iceHQ's newly refurbished off ice room. Saturday mornings of Term 3 Skate School (excluding July 18th and August 8th)
