It is a strange feeling. When it's clean, when everyone catches at once and drives at once and rips the blade out at once, the boat doesn't just move - she leaps, again and again.

FIRST REGATTA. TWO SILVERS. ALL 500M CREWS INTO FINALS! 🐉🔥

A strong start to the 2026/27 DBNSW Regatta Series for DSA! 💙💛

🥈 Senior B Mixed 20s — SILVER
🥈 Senior B Open 10s — SILVER
🔥 All our 500m crews made it through to the finals!

But it wasn’t just about the results! 🙌

🐉 A big shoutout to our first-time racers who made their regatta debut!

💪 Congratulations to our Level 2 sweeps who took on their first regatta as part of their progression!

Our first regatta of the season gave us a great opportunity to put our training to the test, see where we stand, and identify what we need to work on.

Proud of everyone who stepped up, raced hard, and supported the team throughout the day.

A solid start, plenty to build on, and we’re only getting started! 💙💛🔥

Snags for a good cause! 🌭🔥🐉

What a Saturday at Bunnings! 💙💛

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by yesterday to grab a snag and support DSA! 🙌

Funds raised will help support our club’s ongoing operations and our journey to the Australian Dragon Boat Championships (Nationals)! 🐉💪

To our amazing DSA volunteers who spent their Saturday cooking, serving, organising and keeping things running — thank you for making it happen! ❤️

And of course, thank you to Bunnings for giving us the opportunity to fundraise!

From paddling together to flipping snags together — that’s teamwork on and off the water! 💪🐉

Proud of our DSA paddlers and coach who represented Sydney Metro at today’s DBNSW Region vs Region! 💙

From a rainy morning to a warm afternoon, it was a full day of racing — from 200m and 500m, to 1km and 2km endurance races!

Mixed, Women’s and Open crews. 10s and 20s boats. Different distances, one goal! 🔥

A fantastic team effort that saw Sydney Metro finish 2nd overall! 🥈👏

Huge congratulations to everyone who raced, coached, swept and supported on the day! And a special shoutout to our DSA train-on squad members who put in the work during the campaign.
