Great to see a massive turnout at the club…is it a coincidence that the members draw hasn’t gone off…🤪

Huge thanks to our volunteers..Merran, Norm, Daisy & Annie for feeding us…Korral for keeping us hydrated and Martin on the mic…thx to Mez & Jennie for jumping behind the camera!

Winter has passed us now and our fishing competitions start in a couple of weeks, I’m sure all anglers are keen to get back out on the water and look for those early snapper bites. September 19th -20th it all begins lines down midnight Friday with a 4-5 pm weigh in both days at the club rooms, remember each angler must weigh in there own fish to receive points. We have many new anglers join this year so please give any help to improve there fishing skills as this is one reason you join an angling club. Martin will send me any updates and if you need to ask questions post up and a club member will get back to you.

That’s a wrap on today’s work. An epic team effort where cupboards were emptied & removed…floors were lifted, glue chipped off and swept. All in prep for the new kitchen!

So many members and guests enjoy the last throws of winter. The winners of the raffle were all smiling, the beers were flowing and another week went by where the members draw didn't go off!

Thanks to all our volunteers - if you're interested in volunteering reach out to a committee member - there's always a job to do!
