At our social meeting tonight we had Ashley from the lions assistance dogs and Shilo the labradoodle. Ashley gave an interesting talk about what they do and the various types of assistance dogs they train. Then Shilo gave us a demonstration of how she alerts deaf people to various incidents.

Just completed a club trip along the Darling river from Wentworth to Brewarrina. We landed in Bourke for its record 44.8 degrees luckily the park we stayed at had a pool. Enjoyed some great station stays along the way.

Despite some windy and wet weather, we had 11 vehicles explore deep Creek on the weekend. Still some great views down there.
Another Successfull Ladies day, held at the Adelaide Hills 4wd Park by the Mitsubishi 4wd Club SA. We had a good turn out and again the ladies really enjoyed themselves. This video was posted by one of the attendees.

The Mitsubishi 4wd club sa held its annual Christmas weekend at the goolwa caravan park. Around 70 people attended and enjoyed a fabulous feast created by golden roast. This year we were prepared for any weather with a bigger marquee that housed us all for lunch. Just as well because we did get some rain. Father Christmas also attended much to the delight of the children present.

Yesterday the Mitsubishi 4WD Club SA held a ladies only day at the Adelaide Hills 4wd Adventure Park. The aim was to encourage more females to get behind the wheel and learn from expert trainers how to handle their 4wd in a safe and friendly environment. Experience levels ranged from complete newby to quite advanced. Luckily the rain held off and everyone had a great time. This is just one of the advantages of being a member of a well organised club.
