Tiger Terrific Twilight Triples episode 2.

A chilly night wasn’t stopping our intrepid bowlers from enjoying another fantastic round of our springtime competition. All rinks were fully loaded and our greens were chocker block, as 24 teams rolled ‘em down.

A great night made even better with giggles, gaggles, waggles and no haggles.

Just a reminder, the game is not over until it’s over, as one team found out the hard way. After winning the first 7 ends they dropped a 6 and “ouch”, they cried.

And a little pixie tells me, that someone is having a birthday on the green next Wednesday.

Wellsy and Postie are taking home the big bucks after their dominant performance in Albert’s Amazing Social Bowls today.

With only 4 sleeps until the start of the 2026/27 season, we thought we’d seize the opportunity to have another friendly hit out with our mates from the Hawthorn Bowling Club.

Not mentioning any names, but one of our members was so excited about playing, he turned up in odd shoes. I guess you’d call that a “seniors moment”, hey Ringy?

Club Championship volume 2. The Club Triples.

Today was the preliminary rounds of the Club Triples. Blustery conditions may have challenged our bowlers, but outdoor elements are just something to overcome.

Our finalists did just that. They’ll be putting it all on the line next Thursday at 6.00 pm.

Looking forward to a marvellous final between Team Lewis, AJ and Cauliflower against Team Chris, Gerts and the Doc.

With the start of the 2026/27 season only a week away, we decided to launch our assault on glory, with a members get-together.

A cracker of a day for bowls, BBQ and sage advice from our Bowl’s Operation Team. That’s the way we roll down at the best backyard in Richmond.

It’s Friday Night Raffle at the Bowlo!
14 lucky winners walked out of here with their winnings tonight.

Matt will be firing up the barbeque to cook up the meat tray from Bertie’s Butcher and Barbeque.

If you know Claire, you might ask her to treat you at London Tavern with the voucher she won.

And Steve can be found this week at the Sporting Globe with his winnings.

And while we didn’t manage to get a photo, Harry won two dinners for two at the Richmond Union Bowling Club Bistro. If you’re hungry, give him a call.

Tonight, under the watchful eye of club patron, Sarah Witty MP we played a friendly against our mates from across the river, the Hawthorn Bowling Club.

Springtime is a wonderful time to get down to the best backyard in Richmond, get on the green and roll a few down. Perhaps have a snag and a couple of refreshing beverages while you’re doing it.
