🦈 Tom Keyhoe Recommits to the Sharks! 💚💛

The Warranwood Cricket Club is delighted to announce that Tom Keyhoe has recommitted for the 2026/27 season!

A long serving Shark, Tom has been an important part of our senior program and continues to be a valuable contributor to our senior squad.

An experienced all rounder, Tom’s spin bowling has added valuable depth and variety to our attack in recent seasons, while his ability to contribute with both bat and ball makes him an important member of the team.

As Tom’s role within the club continues to evolve, he is also becoming an important leader and mentor for our younger players. His experience, commitment and understanding of what it means to wear the Sharks colours provide a great example for the next generation coming through our senior ranks.

We’re looking forward to seeing Tom continue to contribute on the field while also supporting the young Sharks around him.

🦈 Young Guns Are Back! 💚💛

The Warranwood Cricket Club is thrilled to announce that Josh Thomas and Liam Russell have both recommitted for the 2026/27 season!

Two genuine home grown Sharks, Josh and Liam have come through our junior program and have now established themselves as critical members of our senior squad.

Their journey from junior cricket into senior cricket is exactly what our club is all about! Developing our own players, creating opportunities and watching our young Sharks grow into important contributors at senior level.

Both Josh and Liam were important contributors to our 1X1 squad last season, with Josh making an impact with both bat and ball, and Liam as a quality batter/keeper.

At a young age, both have already shown they have what it takes to perform at the highest level of our club, and we’re excited to see them continue to grow and take their cricket to the next level.

They are a big part of the future of Warranwood Cricket Club, and we can’t wait to see what the next season brings for these two young guns.

The Warranwood Cricket Club is thrilled to announce that Ava Kannegiesser has recommitted for the 2026/27 season!

Ava has been a fantastic leader of our Women’s team, serving as co-captain for the past couple of seasons and playing an important role in building the culture and direction of our growing Women’s program.

Ava brings strong leadership, composure and a genuine team first attitude, and we’re delighted she’ll continue to play an important role both on and off the field.

This season, Ava has also joined the Warranwood Cricket Club Committee to provide an important voice for our women’s playing group.

We’re looking forward to seeing Ava continue to support and inspire the group as we head into another exciting season. 🦈🏏

Welcome to the Sharks, Imogen Farrell! 🦈💚💛

We’re thrilled to welcome Imogen “Imy” Farrell to the Warranwood Cricket Club.

Imy comes from a Sharks Family and is already a familiar face to many around the club, making her a fantastic addition to our growing Women’s program.

After a stellar junior career at Norwood, Imy brings an impressive list of achievements, including being named co-captain of the RDVA Jas Harrison Stage 3 Allstar Team last season alongside our own Patience Donis, before captaining the RDCA Under 17 Girls to a VMCU premiership. 🏆

At a young age, Imy has already shown the skills and leadership qualities that will make her a huge asset to our Women’s team in addition to her all round cricket abilities.

We’re excited to see her take the next step in her cricket journey with the Sharks and can’t wait to see the contribution she makes both on and off

PLAYER RE-COMMITMENT
CODY MARSHALL

The Warranwood Cricket Club is thrilled to announce that Cody Marshall has re-committed for the 2026/27 season.

After making Warranwood home four seasons ago, Cody has continued to develop into a key member of our 1st XI bowling attack. Off the back of his strongest senior season to date, his consistency, competitiveness and willingness to do the hard work have seen him establish himself as a highly valued player and teammate.

As our 1st XI embarks on the 26/27 season in Newey Plate, we’re excited to see Cody continue his development and play an integral role in the side’s success.

His dedication to continual improvement and commitment to the club make him a great example of the future we’re building at Warranwood.

RE COMMITTED: NEIL BROWN (2026/27)

The Warranwood Cricket Club is delighted to announce that Neil Brown has recommitted for the 2026/27 season.
After a solid season at the top of the order, Neil has reaffirmed his value as a key member of our 1st XI.
Neil will once again be a key figure in our batting line up. His experience, passion and pride in the Warranwood Cricket Club have a significant impact on our playing group, particularly our emerging players. We’re excited to see Neil continue to lead our batting attack while supporting the senior leadership group and helping shape the next generation of Sharks.

We’re thrilled to announce that our coaching group is back for another season!

The continuity, commitment and passion these coaches bring to our club is something we’re incredibly proud of. By locking in the same coaching team again, we’re building on the strong foundations already in place and creating consistency for our players across every grade.

🏏 Mark Farrell will continue as Head Coach, overseeing our broader cricket program, while Andrew Spittle will focus primarily on developing our current and future 1st XI squad.

🏏 Les Robinson returns to coach our Women’s 1st XI, with Craig Buchan continuing to lead our Women’s 2nd XI.

A huge thank you to each of them for their ongoing commitment and dedication. We can’t wait to see what we can achieve together in the season ahead.
