Yesterday, 50 of our RSC Junior Swimmers splashed it out at our first Aggregate of the swim season at Maroondah Leisure – Aquahub. 💦

Aggregates are run by our senior swimmers and club leaders, and in addition to getting some valuable race day experience for the juniors, the afternoon allowed swimmers from the different squads to get together and socialise in the warm pool, out of the winter chill. ❄️➡️💧

We’re very grateful to everyone who came and helped out during the afternoon, and encouraged the swimmers. 🖤💜

Congratulations also goes to Jacob on a fantastic showing at the 2025 Bayside Short Course Meet! 🏊🏼‍♂️💥

At only 8 years of age he delivered strong performances across multiple events in the 12 & Under category, showing great skill and consistency throughout the day. 👏

Back to 2023, when Liam was dominating the world of gymnastics - training 15 hours a week and finishing his career as State Vault Champion 🥇 before making the switch to swimming.

💬 Liam: “I had a love/hate relationship with swimming, but once I was burnt out from gymnastics I thought I’d give squad a term to see how I went. I’ve never looked back!”

And we agree! 🙌 Liam has exploded onto the swimming scene, with a couple of State golds already and we’ve got no doubt we’ll see him on the blocks at April’s Age Nationals. 🏊‍♂️💥

Safe to say… he’s come a long way from 25m with an aid! 🏊🏽‍♂️😁

Now, Thomas is preparing to represent RSC on the Gold Coast this April 🖤💜

As a proud Target26 swimmer, Thomas isn’t just a fierce competitor, he’s an emerging leader in our club. The future is very bright for this rising star! 🌟
