Park Orchards Netball Club

Community based netball club providing training and competition for all ages We are a community-based netball club with teams from U9 to Open.

We participate in Melbourne East Netball Association competitions, training on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons and playing on Friday afternoon (U9 competition) and Saturdays (U11-Open)

We strive to provide a positive and caring environment that encourages participation and enjoyment of netball within our local community and to create the opportunity for PONC players, umpires and coaches to excel, via the support of a strong and transparent management framework.

A huge thank you to our incredible 17-1s and Open 1s coach, Janine, for hosting our POWER Pathways Night! 💙⚡️

It was such a valuable night for our players and parents to learn more about the different pathways and opportunities available in netball, and what those journeys can look like at different stages.

A very special thank you to Jemma, Belle, Ash, Amy, Chloe and Georgia for giving up their time to come along and share their own experiences. Hearing directly from players who have been through different parts of the pathway — the opportunities, challenges and lessons along the way — was so valuable for our younger athletes.

At POWER, we always want to encourage our players to put themselves out there, take every opportunity that comes their way and see where their netball can take them. 💙

We can’t wait to see plenty of our POWER players giving rep trials a go this year — back yourselves and go for it! ⚡️

Thank you again to Janine and Sinem for bringing the night together, and to everyone who came along!

Congratulations to Georgia Corr and Jemma Whitaker on being selected in the top 50 in Victoria in U19. What an achievement!!

To get to this point takes more than talent — it takes years of hard work, dedication, persistence and showing up when no one is watching. To see that recognised with a place in the Victorian U19 State Squad is something truly special.

We couldn’t be prouder of you both. And this is only the beginning.

Good luck as you head into the next stage of selections. We’ve got your backs the whole way.

A huge congratulations to Belle Whitaker & Ruby Wade on being Talent Identified at the 2026 Association Championships! 💙⚡

Being talent identified is an incredible achievement and reflects the hard work, commitment and determination these girls have shown on and off the court.

They have now been invited to trial for the Victorian State Team – an amazing opportunity and a testament to their dedication.

We are so proud to see two POWER athletes recognised on the state stage and can’t wait to see what comes next. 💪🏐

🏆 PREMIERS | U17 SECTION 1 🏆
What a finish!
In a Grand Final that went right down to the wire, our 17 Lightning girls held their nerve to secure an incredible 28-27 victory over Trinity.
With the scores locked in a tight battle all game, it came down to the final moments, with Lightning scoring in the dying seconds to claim the premiership.
A season built on hard work, resilience and teamwork came down to one unforgettable finish. We couldn't be prouder of this group and their coaches.
Thank you to Trinity for a fantastic game and season. Congratulations on a terrific contest.
