Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads and dad figures in our TCE family!

To the dads, stepdads, grandads, uncles, poppies and all the special people who step into that role — today is for you.

Thank you for being the chauffeurs, costume carriers, prop builders, snack providers, emergency hair-fixers, audience members and professional “that looked great!” supporters… even when you have absolutely no idea what dance they just did.

Thank you for the early mornings, late nights, endless driving, cheering from the audience and supporting your dancers in doing something they love.

We hope you’ve all had a wonderful Father’s Day and have been thoroughly spoilt today — you deserve it!

✨ A pretty special little certificate! ✨

We’re incredibly proud to have received an ATOD Excellence Award, recognising studios with students who achieved a perfect 100% in their 2026 examinations! 🩵

Choosing Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD) has always been very intentional for us, and all of our TCE dance teachers have undertaken ATOD examinations themselves.

We love not only the syllabus, but the people behind it — the supportive community, incredible industry leaders and a philosophy built around strong technique, professional standards and developing each dancer to their individual potential.

We always believe that great training isn’t about rushing young dancers to the next trick or pushing them beyond what they’re ready for. It’s about strong foundations, safe progression and quality technique — while still nurturing a love of dance. 🩵

With pathways from recreational dance and examinations through to vocational training and teaching, ATOD gives our dancers somewhere to go wherever their dance journey takes them.

To have the standard of our students recognised in this way is pretty special.

Strong foundations. Safe progression. High standards. Happy dancers.
And a few 100% results along the way aren’t too bad either! 😉🩵

It’s DRESS UP WEEK! 🥳🌈

All week — Monday 31st August to Saturday 5th September — we want to see your best, funniest, craziest or most random dress ups at the studio!

Come as your favourite character, a superhero, a pop star, a teacher, a doctor, a tradie, a vet… maybe even something you want to be when you’re older 👀 (just throwing ideas out there… 😉)

Honestly, anything goes! Raid the dress-up box, get creative and have some fun with it.

We can’t wait to see what everyone turns up as this week 😂✨ and don’t forget to tag us in your photos !

🚨 NO CLASSES TOMORROW! 🚨

Just a reminder that there will be NO TCE classes tomorrow, Friday 28th August, due to a school event taking place on site.

Don’t worry, it’s only a quick little break! 😆 Classes will be back to normal on Saturday 29th August.

📣 DRESS UP WEEK – DATE CHANGE! 🎭✨

Our Dress Up Week is moving!

As next week isn’t a full week of classes at the studio, we don’t want anyone missing out on the fun — so we’re postponing Dress Up Week by one week so EVERYONE can join in! 🥳

Same dress-up fun, same chance to get creative… just one week later! 🌟

So keep those costumes ready and get excited — we can’t wait to see what everyone comes dressed as during Week 8! 💙

✨ DANCE EXCELLENCE ACADEMY TRIALS – APPLICATIONS OPEN! ✨

As a proud Partner Studio of Ripley Valley SSC Dance Excellence Academy, we’re excited to help spread the word about their upcoming trials!

The Dance Excellence Academy is a fantastic opportunity for students who are passionate about dance to continue developing their training and performance skills as part of their secondary school experience.

We absolutely love being able to work alongside RVSSC and support the opportunities they are creating for young dancers within our local community — including many of our own TCE dancers as they move into their secondary school years.

Tomorrow our 2026 Performance Teams and Soloists will take to the stage for the very first time before kicking off the competition season, and we cannot wait to share everything they’ve been working so hard on!

From our tiniest performers to our senior dancers, this showcase is packed with incredible talent, exciting routines and plenty of special moments. 💙
