NSW Cross Country Relays 2026

We currently have 2 teams entered in the girls 9-10’s and 11-12’s relay this Saturday at The Amory, Sydney Olympic Park.
Start time 9-10’s: 11am
Start time 11-12’s: 11:35am

However the teams are both one athlete short. We are currently seeking the following to complete both teams:
• 1 girl born in 2016 or 2017 (9-10’s team)
• 1 girl born in 2014 or 2015 (11-12’s team)

🇦🇺What an incredible Nationals for Riverstone Athletics! 🇦🇺

This year we had 8 of our athletes compete in Brisbane at the Australian Junior National Championships — Marlee, Keira, Ivy, Isla, Liam, Lauren, Ocean and Vidyut 👏🏼

Making it to Nationals is no easy task. Athletes have to compete at specific qualifying events throughout the season and achieve set national qualifying times or distances. It takes consistency, commitment, and a huge amount of hard work just to earn a place on the start line — this isn’t an easy achievement.

We are so proud of each and every one of you. Representing your club on the national stage is something special, and you all showed determination, resilience, and true sportsmanship.

A special shout out to Ocean for taking GOLD in javelin 🥇 Marlee for bringing home BRONZE in javelin🥉and Vid bringing home the bronze in triple jump 🥉 — outstanding performances!

We are incredibly grateful to be selected as a recipient of the Local Sport Grant. This funding is a wonderful boost for our club and a strong show of support for grassroots sport within our community. It is a meaningful recognition of the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, who give their time and energy to support our athletes and families.
We also extend our sincere thanks to Warren Kirby MP and his team for their ongoing support of grassroots sport in the area. Their support and enthusiasm are truly noticed and appreciated.

LOCAL SPORTS GRANTS RECIPIENTS!

Eight local clubs have scored vital funding through the Minns Labor Government's Local Sport Grant Program, sharing $4.49 million to boost participation, upgrade facilities and invest in new equipment.

These grants are a big win for grassroots sport and the many volunteers who give their time and energy to support our local sporting clubs and our community.
