The teams are set and Sunday is shaping up to be a massive day for the Roos as two of our U13.5 sides take to the field in their Grand Finals! 💙🤍

Our U13.5 Division 3 Girls get us underway at 12:00pm, before our U13.5 Division 2 Boys take the field at 1:45pm.

Both teams have worked incredibly hard to earn their place on Grand Final day and we couldn’t be prouder of the players, coaches, team managers and families who have supported them all season.

Now it’s time to get behind them.

Bring the blue and white, make some noise and help us give both teams the support they deserve on Sunday.

Congratulations to our five youth players who were recognised at tonight’s 2026 SEQ Juniors League Best & Fairest Awards

To have five Roos finish in the top three across their respective competitions, including two league Best & Fairest winners, is an incredible achievement and something our whole club can be very proud of.

These awards are a reflection of the hard work, commitment and consistency these young players have shown throughout the season — and another fantastic sign of the continued growth of our youth football program.

What a season it has been for our Roos youth program.

In only our 4th year of youth football, four of our five youth teams qualified for finals — and this Sunday, for the first time in our junior club’s history, two Roos teams will play in Grand Finals!

This is a huge achievement for our football club and something we are exceptionally proud of.

Our players have worked incredibly hard to get here, backed by an outstanding group of coaches, team managers, volunteers and families who have supported them every step of the way.

Now we want to see the Roos family out in force!

Get down to Southport from 12pm this Sunday, wear your blue and white, make plenty of noise and get behind both teams as they break new ground as the first Grand Finalists in our junior club’s history.

Whatever happens on Sunday, 2026 has already been a massive season for our club, but we’d love nothing more than to finish it surrounded by as many Roos as possible.

A huge weekend of finals footy for our Roos youth teams, with plenty to be proud of across the club.

🏆 U13 GIRLS — GRAND FINAL BOUND!

History made! Our U13 Girls have become the first Roos youth team to qualify for a Grand Final after a fantastic victory on the weekend.

What an incredible achievement for this group. We’re so proud of the girls, coaches, families and everyone involved in the program. Well done, girls! 💙🤍

🔥 U13 DIVISION 2 BOYS — PRELIMINARY FINAL

Our U13 Division 2 boys continue their finals campaign at the Roo Pen this Sunday, taking on Labrador.

There will be 4 games of youth finals football at the club on Sunday, so we’d love to see a massive crowd dressed in BLUE getting behind our boys and creating a great home-ground atmosphere!

💙 U13 DIVISION 4

Unfortunately, our Div 4 boys went down narrowly to Ormeau on the weekend, bringing their season to an end.

It was a massive effort from this group throughout the year and they should be incredibly proud of what they achieved. Plenty of development, plenty of improvement and plenty to look forward to.

**Well done, boys. We’re really proud of you.**

💙 U15 BOYS

Our U15s also saw their season come to an end after a really tight battle against Broadbeach.

This is a young side that pushed Broadbeach all the way and will take a huge amount of learning and experience from their finals campaign.

The effort and commitment from the boys was outstanding and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they represented the Roos.

Well done to everyone involved.
