Congratulations to 16 yr old Jack Penfold on a fantastic 1st XI T20 Max Debut over the weekend.

Last season, Jack Penfold was an underage Taverners Pathway player. He went on to become a dominant figure in our U19 Premiership-winning side, earning recognition for his performances and continued development.

Now, at just 16 years of age, Jack has taken the next step β€” earning 1st XI selection, inclusion in our T20 Max squad, and making his 1st XI debut vs Valleys in our win on Saturday with figures of 2/13 off 4 overs.

A remarkable progression in a short space of time from the LA Orthodox allrounder, a testament to Jack’s talent, work ethic, character and desire to improve.

We can’t wait to see what Jack Penfold has in store for the Gold Coast Dolphins this season & beyond. The future is bright. 🐬

Club First. Team Second. Individual Third. 🐬

Massive congratulations to our superstar U13s & U14s winter cricket teams. In our club’s inaugural participation in Warehouse winter cricket, both teams, playing on side-by-side grounds yesterday and today at Tingalpa, have won their grand finals!

As a club, we are mighty proud of all the boys’ growth, effort and commitment this season. Being crowned premiers in both age groups is the cherry on top of the development shown by every single player. The future is certainly bright on the Gold Coast!

Thank you to all coaches, scorers, umpires & a very supportive parent group across the age groups. It’s been a treat to see the boys having so much fun together and playing some great cricket along the way! May these memories live long in all involved.

All the best for your summer seasons with your respective clubs, lads! Go the Dolphins! 🐬🏏πŸ’ͺ
