Throwback Thursday! We loved seeing every one of our competing dancers up on stage at our to the Harp & Shamrock Feis in April, right at home on the Gold Coast. We were super proud of all of these dancers - with everyone putting at least one brand new dance on stage! Hard work pays off 🐦‍🔥🌟🎵

Paige kicked off 2026 with a dedicated term of hard work! She took all the new steps and tricks we taught her and put in consistent work at every class - and at home - to dance them at her very best. We loved seeing her focused improvement throughout the term. Way to go Paige! 🐦‍🔥🌟🎵

Maddi showed lots of focus and dedication to her dancing in term 1. She rose to the challenge of learning new and tricky intermediate steps, working hard to get them stage ready. Maddi also participated in her first ever competitions for PDQ - putting beginner, primary AND intermediate dances on stage! Way to go Maddi! 🐦‍🔥🌟🎵

Marley’s efforts and attitude really shone throughout teams in Term 1. She worked hard during drills and has been a supportive and reliable teammate, happy to learn and dance in any position & any team! Way to go Marley! 🐦‍🔥🌟🎵

A special acknowledgement of our 2026 Term 1 beginner/primary dancer of the term - Lilith!

Lilith stood out in Term 1 for her consistently great attitude and big efforts to improve her dancing. Lilith took on all feedback from her teachers and worked hard to apply it to her dancing. Way to go Lilith! 🐦‍🔥🌟🎵

Congratulations to our Adult Dancer Helen, closing out a great weekend at the QIA May Feis! It was wonderful to see you on stage representing PDQ for the first time and getting some new dances on stage! Great work today and congrats on taking home two wins 🥇😁
