We’re all so busy trying to build a better life that we forget to live the one we already have.
One day the kids will be grown.
The dog won’t greet you at the door.
Your parents won’t answer the phone.
The friends you meant to catch up with will be memories.
Put down the phone.
The people you love won’t be here forever.
For Dad - a place to watch us grow. 🤍

I recently had an experience where I was reminded of a memory that triggered unpleasant feelings. My immediate reaction was for my mind to block the memory in order to protect me (a useful tool once upon a time). But the thing is…I wasn’t in danger, but my mind couldn’t tell the difference between the memory and real life. So instead of trying to fix it, I allowed my mind and emotions to move freely. I breathed deeply and I surrendered. I don’t say this lightly because to be honest, it’s a skill I have practiced for many years. Yoga helped me to understand my awareness and surrender. Two of my favourite skills that any great yoga teacher can reconnect in you.

Reduce stress with a 2-Minute breathing technique.
➻ Sit or lie comfortably – Relax your shoulders and close your eyes if you like.
➻ Inhale slowly through your nose for a count of 4 – Feel your belly rise, not just your chest.
➻ Hold your breath gently for a count of 2 – no strain, just a pause.
➻ Exhale slowly for a count of 6 – Imagine releasing stress with the breath.
➻ Repeat for 6–8 cycles (about 2 minutes).
💡 Tip: If counting feels tricky, just make your exhale longer than your inhale—that’s the key to activating calm.

🧘♀️✨ Happy International Yoga Day! ✨🧘♂️
Today, we celebrate the practice that grounds us, strengthens us, and brings peace to both body and mind.
Whether you’re flowing through a vinyasa, finding stillness in meditation, or simply taking a mindful breath — yoga reminds us to come home to ourselves.
🌿 “Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” – Bhagavad Gita
Let’s keep growing, stretching, and breathing together.

🧘♀️ How Yoga Improves Your Mood
1. Releases feel-good chemicals
Yoga triggers the release of endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin—the brain’s natural mood enhancers.
2. Reduces stress hormones
Practicing yoga lowers cortisol (the stress hormone), helping you feel calmer and less anxious.
3. Encourages deep breathing
Slow, mindful breathing signals the nervous system to relax, reducing tension and anxiety.
4. Improves sleep
Better sleep = better mood. Yoga helps you unwind, making it easier to fall and stay asleep.
5. Builds self-awareness
Yoga encourages you to tune in—not zone out. This self-connection can lead to more emotional balance and resilience.
6. Enhances mindfulness
Being present on the mat helps you stay present off the mat—so you react less and breathe more, even during tough moments.
7. Boosts confidence and self-esteem
As you gain strength, flexibility, and inner calm, you also build confidence in your body and mind.

We often overlook the preciousness of life and the limited time we have. Live a life that fills you with pride, surrounding yourself with those who uplift and champion you, especially when others may not. Pursue what brings you joy, reach for your goals, and seek no one's approval. If your job brings you misery, have the courage to leave it. Value your time and ensure your income aligns with that. Move your body and put your wellbeing first. Never apologize or dumb yourself down for the comfort of others. Live a life your past, present and future self will be proud of 🙏
