The Aus Prix welcomes Runqiao Du and Erin Mahoney-Du back to Australia in 2027 for Atelier et Competition - an intensive training and competition experience bringing together three days of coaching, repertoire and classical training, followed by the competition at QUT Gardens Theatre.

Led by internationally recognised teacher, coach and YAGP panel member Runqiao Du, alongside Erin Mahoney-Du, dancers will have the opportunity to refine their technique, develop repertoire and gain valuable insight from two highly respected international educators.

THE INTENSIVE
Hosted at Queensland National Ballet School, dancers will take part in:

* Classical class with Runqiao Du
* Repertoire with Erin Mahoney-Du
* Three days of intensive training
* Potential opportunity for individual solo coaching

Age groups:
Junior | 7-9 years
Intermediate | 10-13 years
Senior | 14+ years
Adult | 18+ years

THE COMPETITION
Following the intensive, dancers will perform at QUT Gardens Theatre, with Runqiao Du adjudicating.
Dancers may present up to two solos across:

* Classical Ballet
* Classical Contemporary
* Demi Character
* Repertoire
* Lyrical / Neo-Classical

Competition age categories:
7-8 years
9-10 years
11-12 years
13-14 years
15-17 years
18+ years

More than $10,000 in cash prizes, alongside scholarship opportunities, will be awarded across the competition.
Gold, Silver and Bronze Medallists will be awarded, with additional awards for 4th-8th place.

Atelier et Competition is open to all dancers, with no audition required. Participation in the intensive is required to enter the competition.

For dancers preparing for YAGP and other international competitions in 2027, the program also provides a valuable opportunity to receive coaching and feedback from an experienced YAGP panel member ahead of the season.

$995 - Includes the 3 day intensive and competition entry.

Congratulations to Shannon for being our highly respected Dancer of the Month at Intrinsic Studios in August 2026. Shannon is a valued member of our Ladies Jazz, Tap and Ballet Teams, and she has also provided reliable support as a Ballroom/Dancesports teacher over the years. As a busy dance Mum, it is great to see Shannon fully involved with her own dance passions. Especially since our Ladies Ballet class always relies on her presence to guide them! Thank you Shannon 🥰
