This morning, members of the Frenchville Sports Club Ltd Board joined students from Rockhampton State High School to release barramundi raised through the schoolโ€™s Aquaculture Centre into the Fitzroy River.

The program gives students valuable hands-on aquaculture experience while helping strengthen local fish stocks and support the future of recreational fishing in our region.

Who knows, some of these barra may even feature in a future Fitzroy River Barra Bash! ๐ŸŽฃ

Congratulations to the students, teachers and everyone involved in this fantastic initiative.
