A little look inside our Level 1 Student Teacher training 💙
This week we’re learning about the difference between being friendly with our students and being friends with our students.
Our student teachers are learning what it means to be a role model both in and outside of class, how to maintain appropriate teacher-student boundaries, and how to build beautiful connections with the children they teach while ensuring every child is given the same opportunities to feel seen, supported and included.
We’re also talking about the little things we can do to make sure every child in our classes feels equally valued. 🤍
Because being a great dancer doesn’t automatically make someone a great teacher.
Teaching is a skill, and we’re pretty passionate about actually teaching our future teachers how to do it well. 🩵
