The day before I gave birth to my beautiful girl, Ariah. 🤍
I was almost 47, naturally conceived, and carrying a baby I had fought so hard for.
Just one year earlier, I had given birth at 20 weeks to my beautiful baby girl, Rylee Eden, who had already passed away in my belly. It was one of the most heartbreaking experiences of my life.
Six months later, when everyone around me said, “Don’t risk trying again,” I made a choice.
I backed myself.
I became the fittest and strongest I had ever been. I believed in my body, trusted myself and gave myself the best chance I could.
And then came Ariah. 🌸
A wonderful pregnancy. Carried full term. A beautiful, healthy baby girl.
Tomorrow, that little girl turns 10.
Looking back at this photo, I’m reminded that sometimes life asks you to find strength you didn’t know you had.
Back yourself. Believe in yourself. Don’t let someone else’s doubts become your limits.
You won’t always know how things will turn out. You won’t always have everyone around you agreeing with your choices. And sometimes there will be very real risks and challenges to consider.
But don’t underestimate what can happen when you believe in yourself, prepare yourself, put in the work and have the courage to try.
Believe that more is possible. Back yourself. And never be afraid to dream a little bigger than the people around you think you should. ❤️
