HANDSTANDS & CARTWHEELS WORKSHOP 🤸🏼‍♀️

Our first Handstands & Cartwheels Workshop was a huge success, so we’re bringing it back for round two!

Ready to take your gymnastics skills to the next level?

Join Coach Jazz, Coach Angela and Coach Kenzi on Wednesday 7th October, 6:10pm–7:05pm for a fun and action-packed Skills Workshop focused on mastering your handstands and cartwheels.

You’ll work on:
• Handstand and cartwheel technique
• Strength and physical preparation
• Building strong, safe and confident skills
• Developing your confidence upside down

Come ready to move, learn, develop your skills and have fun!

Lucy you are so driven and have put so much effort into your Coach in Training program. We are so lucky to have you as part of the BK’s Rosebud team!

We can’t wait to watch you continue to learn, grow and develop over the coming years. We know you’re going to be an amazing coach!

We’re pleased to let you know that Round 11 of the Get Active Kids Voucher Program is now open for applications!

Eligible families who hold a valid healthcare or concession card can apply for either a voucher or reimbursement.
Important Dates
* Applications close: 10am, 13th October 2026 (or earlier if funding is fully allocated)
* Voucher expiry: Wednesday, 27th April 2027.

Eligible families can apply for a $200 voucher to use at our club before the voucher expiry date.
When completing your application, please select our club.
Our Activity Provider Code for BK’s Gymnastics Peninsula is: 3536795.
We recommend only applying if you have checked class availability with us first.

New tramp feels!

We’re so excited to have replaced our trampoline bed with a brand new one!

While we’re celebrating the new tramp, here are a few important safety reminders:

🤸🏼‍♀️ONE AT A TIME
One gymnast per trampoline helps prevent collisions and unsafe landings.

🤸🏼‍♀️ NO FLIPS WITHOUT A COACH
Flips should only be attempted when a coach has instructed and is supervising you. They’ll make sure you’re ready and know how to perform the skill safely.

🤸🏼‍♀️ LISTEN TO YOUR COACH
Follow instructions and wait until you’re told it’s safe to go.

🤸🏼‍♀️ WAIT YOUR TURN
Stay clear of the trampoline until it’s your turn- no walking across or around the trampoline while someone is jumping.

🤸🏼‍♀️ JUMP SAFE. HAVE FUN.
Our trampolines are here to help you learn, progress and have fun- safely!

Believe it or not, Gymnastics and AFL go hand in hand. The skills developed through gymnastics, such as balance, coordination, agility, strength, body control and safe landing techniques, help create stronger, more confident athletes and reduce the risk of injury on the field.

We can't wait to see our gymnasts enjoying Footy Week while learning just how beneficial gymnastics can be for AFL performance and safety.
