Karate offers the beginner to black belt a number of obvious elements; fitness, self defence, self discipline and self development.

Family-friendly martial arts school in Rosebud offering Little Dragons (3-5 years), Young Warriors (6-8), Juniors (9-12), teen & adult karate, women-only classes, and Krav Maga. When entering the dojo for the first time, you encounter a regime of etiquette & a philosophy which helps discipline oneself. There is no special age for the Beginner, as we cater for students as young as four years old up to mature age persons. Karate can reshape your life both physically and mentally. The journey from Beginner to Black Belt and beyond can have many exciting challenges, why not start today? We have programs for Kindergarten kids, children, teens, men and women. Our kindergarten program teaches basic karate with an emphasis on fun. Children participate in games which enhance reaction & decision making skills. Our children’s program instils confidence, self esteem, discipline, co-ordination and a positive attitude which will improve children for everyday life. Our teens and adults program improves physical health and is a safe and effective approach to martial arts. You will enjoy the benefits of the most successful Karate organisation on the Peninsula. Sports Karate is dynamic and exciting to watch. We are a member of the Australian and World Karate Federation.

Awesome day at Peninsula Karate! Yamato Sensei led a fantastic kids seminar where our students tried the bō for the first time and then sharpened their Kumite skills.
