Karate offers the beginner to black belt a number of obvious elements; fitness, self defence, self discipline and self development.
Family-friendly martial arts school in Rosebud offering Little Dragons (3-5 years), Young Warriors (6-8), Juniors (9-12), teen & adult karate, women-only classes, and Krav Maga. When entering the dojo for the first time, you encounter a regime of etiquette & a philosophy which helps discipline oneself. There is no special age for the Beginner, as we cater for students as young as four years old up

Awesome day at Peninsula Karate! Yamato Sensei led a fantastic kids seminar where our students tried the bō for the first time and then sharpened their Kumite skills. It was wonderful to see so many smiles on the mats as they learned new techniques. A big thank you to Sensei for creating such a memorable experience for our young martial artists 🙏🥋

Day 2 of the seminar focused on soft blocking application for sparring and power connection. Having two full days to train and refine our skills over 10 hours was incredible. Taka Sensei has a way of making every session engaging , inspiring, and genuinely fun.
