Rain has gone, sun is shining so it’s time to get back to golf. This great day called for a new outfit 😊 thanks Acegolfs
Thanks to the staff Roseville Golf Club for getting to the course back to great condition, despite the extensive rain we’ve had. 👏

A wonderful day celebrating International Women’s Day at Bayview Golf Club.
100 women came together to enjoy golf, friendship and acknowledge the accomplishments of women particularly in golf.
I had the privilege of speaking to the group over lunch on how to outsmart your brain to play your best golf.

🏌️♀️ International Women's Day on the Golf Course 🏌️♀️
This year’s IWD 2025 theme, "Accelerate Action," is a call for urgency. It reminds us that while progress has been made, systemic barriers to gender equality still exist. To move forward, we must push for strategies, resources, and initiatives that create meaningful change for women—both in their careers and personal lives.
In the past one of the slowest institutions to embrace gender equity has been Golf Clubs.
But change is happening. Vision 2025, launched by Golf Australia in 2018, set out to promote gender equality in Australian golf clubs. And the numbers are showing progress:
✔️ 3.2% increase in women and girls' membership
✔️ 22.7% growth in the junior girls' scholarship program
So why do we play golf, anyway?
🏌️♀️ Camaraderie
🌿 Natural surroundings
✈️ Travel opportunities
🎉 Social connection
🏆 Competition
👗 Great fashion
💪 Exercise
🤝 Networking
🥇 Lessons in success & failure
😃 And most of all—fun!

Lost not lost. My golf bag, containing two sets of clubs arrived at Terminal 1 Sydney International Airport but never made it out of the baggage handling area. My other luggage arrived. I can see where golf bag is, via my AirTags, but Qantas tells me they are still searching for them! 🤦♀️😡 It is now 36 hours later and nothing!!!! Any recommendations on how to walk in and point out my golf bag, because I know exactly where it is!
And, BTW, I have an important match to play tomorrow.

Plenty of wind around today. In the words of a great Sth African golfer “ When it’s breezy, swing easy”
