Last week I got an idea while hanging out the washing to start playing tennis for fun, movement and socialise.

Today: I met at my local club for an Interclub social pennant to try it out. I had no idea what to expect or how it would run or how I would go.
I think it's almost been 15 years since my last hit. It took me a while to get into it, the racquet just didn't want to connect with the ball or there is a big hole where the strings should be on my $40 racquet, my body took ages to get moving sideways, it hasn't moved like that since hockey 9 years ago.
I played 3 games and I had a great time and will sign up with the club and become a social tennis player.

Mum played tennis around this age as a way to get movement in and socialise. Guess I've become like my Mum now.
Guess what her name is? It's Jane 😉

A reminder it's ok to suck, keep at it and let's go get It
