Today was the last day of preparation before our team heads to Japan. 🇯🇵

Kids, adults, parents, students and coaches — all stepping onto that plane with different dreams, different goals and different battles ahead.

But there’s one thing we want every single one of them to remember:

You will come back with exactly the same value you had when you left.

A gold medal won’t make us more proud of you.
A loss won’t make us any less proud of you.

Because long before stepping onto the mats in Japan, you were already champions to us.

You are great students, great coaches, great parents, great husbands and wives, great sons and daughters, great teammates and, above all, great people.

We see what you do every day.
We see the work when nobody is watching.
We see the sacrifices, the early mornings, the hard sessions, the discipline and the commitment.

A competition can measure a performance on a particular day. It can never measure your value.

So go to Japan. Compete hard. Chase the best result possible. Leave everything on the mats.

But above all, enjoy it.

Enjoy the journey, your teammates, enjoy representing your academy, your families and everyone who helped you get there.

Whatever happens on those mats, come home proud.

Our second Open Fire Open Mat & BBQ happened last Sunday, and once again, it was an amazing day! 🤙

Great rounds on the mats, good vibes, plenty of laughs — and then straight to the barbecue to enjoy some food and spend time together.

That’s what Open Fire is all about. Once a month, we come together not only to train, but to strengthen our community, build friendships and enjoy what happens beyond the mats.

A massive thank you to everyone who came down and made our second edition such a great one. You guys are what make these days special! 🙏🔥
