Huge congratulations to Rippon Athlete Wei Qiang Lin taking out both the Classic Physique Opens and 30+ at the Natural Bodybuilding Australia Natural Bodybuilding Australia State Show! 🏆

Wei has been competing for years, and this marks his first ever Opens victory — a result that has been a long time coming.

Our journey started in previous seasons with Wei as a posing client, before eventually making the transition to full prep coaching.

He’s the definition of a silent, smiling assassin — never the loudest in the room, just quietly getting the work done, week after week.

No shortcuts. No excuses. Just consistency, patience and ex*****on.

It’s been so wonderful watching his development and success, and I couldn’t be prouder of what he’s achieved.

Congratulations Wei — this one is well deserved. 🏆🔥

Patience builds the foundation.
Consistency builds the result.

Real development doesn’t happen overnight — it happens when you keep showing up, especially when nobody is watching.

Trust the process. Stay relentless.
Keep building until the results become impossible to ignore.

A week has passed since stepping off the NPC IFBB Naturals stage, and I’ve finally had the chance to reflect.

You’d think after decades in this sport there wouldn’t be much left to discover. But that’s the beauty of bodybuilding—it never stops teaching you. Every prep reveals something new. Every challenge asks more of you. Every season reminds you that experience isn’t the finish line; it’s the foundation for the next lesson.

This prep wasn’t about chasing perfection. It was about bringing the very best version of myself on the day. Physically. Mentally. Emotionally.

To walk away with 2 Gold medals and 3rd place in a stacked Classic Physique Open lineup is something I’m incredibly proud of. Not because of the medals themselves, but because they represent the countless unseen moments—the early mornings, the sacrifices, the doubt, the discipline, and the decision to keep showing up when nobody was watching.

This journey has always been bigger than me.

To my family, thank you for your patience, your understanding, and your unwavering support through every phase of this pursuit.

To my coach Brandon Kempter thank you for your knowledge, guidance and your unwavering support through every moment to bring my best. You tested everything I had and glad I could deliver my best alongside you!

To my friends and clients, thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, and allowing me to share this passion with you. I hope this journey reminds you that growth never stops, no matter how long you’ve been doing something.

And to everyone who sent a message, wished me well, cheered from afar, or simply followed along—thank you. Your support carried more weight than you probably realise.

One week later, I’m grateful.

Not because the journey is over…

But because it reminded me that there’s still another level to discover.

The pursuit continues.

Until the next time?!

I gave everything.

Yet, 24 hours before stepping on the IFBB Nationals stage, I still questioned if I was enough.

Maybe that’s what chasing excellence feels like.

You go anyway.

Just decades of work and commitment to the process. At 46 I’m still making progress. Stop making excuses as you age, just keeping working. It’s a mindset…

There are moments in life that words can barely describe. This was one of them.

Standing on the NPC IFBB Naturals stage for the very first time wasn’t just about competing. It was the culmination of decades of early mornings, late nights, countless training sessions, disciplined nutrition, prioritising recovery, and choosing the harder path—day after day, year after year.

As I looked into the crowd and saw my family, friends, clients, and everyone who has believed in me, I felt something I’ll never forget. Gratitude. Pride. Relief. Joy. Every sacrifice suddenly had meaning.

My posing routine wasn’t simply a performance. It was my story. Every pose represented the setbacks, the lessons, the victories, and the person I had become. It was my way of saying thank you to everyone who has walked this journey with me. SWIPE TO LAST SLIDE…

What makes this moment even more meaningful is remembering where it all began. In 2013, I stepped on stage for the very first time… and I finished dead last. That result could have been the end of the story—but instead, it became the beginning. . That result didn’t define me—it fuelled me.

Thirteen years later, standing on the IFBB Naturals stage in 2026, I realised that success isn’t measured by a placing. It’s measured by the courage to keep showing up when no one is watching, to believe when others don’t, and to never let one chapter become the whole story.

To everyone chasing a dream that feels out of reach: keep going. One day you’ll look back and realise every setback was quietly preparing you for your greatest stage.

This wasn’t the finish line.

It was the beginning of a new chapter. ❤️
