The GymbaROO program encourages babies and children to achieve the essential development sequence of movements, optimising brain development.

Regular physical activity ensures that children develop the foundations for complex movement skills and this helps the brain develop the necessary pathways essential for learning, especially once they start school.

We aim to physically and mentally stimulate our students through a range of activities that help develop their core and motor skills.

Consistency, responsiveness and warmth provides children with a secure sense of self that enables them to explore and learn from the world around them.

Trying new and challenging activities helps lay the groundwork for emotional regulation. Lots of practice, consistent exposure, and support from a positive and caring parent is key to helping children master challenges successfully through all the frustration and tears towards success, empowering them with coping skills, resilience and problem solving strategies.

Temperament is another innate attribute that defines the child’s approach to the world and his/her interaction with the environment. It influences the child’s behaviour and interactions with others.

Caregivers can adapt their management and caregiving styles to match the child’s temperament. This can mould a child’s behaviour and facilitate the child’s successful interactions with their environment.
