20/10/2026
A surprisingly small field of 38 ladies (33*18-hole, 5*9-hole plus Diane Tullberg with Judy Hunter having a social hit) were out on the course on Tuesday 20th of October 2026. It was a perfect day for golf, very warm & wind that became stronger as the day went on. The format was Par, and the Grandmother's Trophy was up for grabs. There were some fabulous scores too!
We also welcomed Mel (President) & Jan (Treasurer) from Clothes 4U Inc. so we could present them with a cheque for the money raised on our Gala Day held in September. A fantastic effort with the total reaching $4,000.
Thanks to Deb for the photo of our trophy winners & the cheque presentation.
Results for the day are below:
18-Hole Event – 33 Players
Winner B Grade ($30 voucher): Joan Spence (27) 4 Up. Great score, however Joan is not a grandmother so cannot win the trophy.

Be sure to book in for next Tuesday for the 9-hole Ambrose event to be held prior to the Ladies AGM. In my absence Teresa Lincoln will mix the teams up a bit so there are 9 & 18-hole players together. Check the draw online before you come next week.
Take care & stay safe & I'll see you on the 30th, hopefully with lots of great stories about golf in South Australia.
