Hi all,

November 28th is the St Ives Vintage Finale for 2026, a day filled with fun, 80's and 90's outfits and vibes with plenty of Vintage R/C racing. We will be running two Quali and three finals to ensure a shorter day and your entry fee will include BBQ and refreshments at the end of the day.
There's a huge raffle with an AE RC10 CC up for grabs, as well as T/Shirts, Hats and Stubby coolers printed by Mob Boss Graphics and some Vintage specific R/C electrics.
Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20.
We will also have a few prizes to give away throughout the day, for being RAD!
For one totally Bodacious person there's a very special one-off Award for "Best 80's/90's outfit.
After Racing has finished, join in the Clod Buster fun run, bring your Clod or Wheely car and some old touring car bodies so we can crush them on the Clod course.
Get your bright and beautiful outfits out, and join in the fun!

Weather during the week sounds to be a bit up n down but lets hope that we can get a nice day come Sunday for the SIRCCC race meet. Will look to see if we can get a good group of the 4wd Evo buggies(pre 2016 4wd buggies, running 17.5 brushless). Will also have the usual 2wd and 4wd modern buggy classes. Will update closer to the weekend.

Sorry to say but the track inspection just now says it is too wet and with little sun expected, we will need to cancel racing for today, So no racing today.

Weather forecast isn't looking too good with a strong chance of rain at some stage tomorrow. But as this weather predicting thing seems to be highly unpredictable, we are planning to go ahead with racing tomorrow. Murphy's law, if we cancel it will be good for most of the day. If we go ahead, it will probably rain by lunch time. Who knows.
So rego will open at 8.15am and close at 9am so we can sort racing heats etc.
We will review the weather forecast situation tomorrow morning. We might go with a discounted race fee if it looks likely we wont get through a whole day but at least we can get something started if people want to just go racing and see how it all turns out.
P.s. If we are preparing the track, setting up and sorting rego etc, you probably wont get a response to enquiries Messenger etc. re if racing is on.
You may have to look out the window, check MSN Weather and decide for yourself. I know some people travel a long way so I fully understand your reluctance to head out if the situation is unclear. But I will try to remember to post something sometime in the morning once I am at the track and we have a better idea what is going on. But by then it will probably be too late to help those who have to travel more than an hour. But the Cafe at the Showground should be open so at least we can sit around and drink coffee if you turn up.

After all the big events of the Racing League and the Vintage Festival, we return to the SIRCCC club day meets. We are on this Sunday. There was a lot of interest in the new 4wd Evo class at the Festival (pre 2016 4wd buggy running 17.5 brushless, no boost) so if you want to give it a go, bring yours along on Sunday and if we can get 6 runners we will create a 4wd Evo buggy specific class. Will likely also have Outlaw 2wd & 4wd (21.5 brushkless) 2wd stock and 4wd stock. Maybe some Mod in there as well.

What a great weekend! Huge thanks to all that attended. Big thanks to all of our volunteers that helped both prep the track and help out over the weekend. Special thanks to Pete for getting us involved in the series and running the computer and his commentary on Sunday. Well done to all of the competitors and congratulations to all of the podium winners. There was some fantastic racing and awesome battles.
