We're open all long weekend so you can make a splash 🏊‍♂️ or squeeze in a sweat session 💪 at one of our Inner West Aquatic Centres.

Our centres are open on the King’s Birthday public holiday, Monday 8 June, with reduced hours and modified group fitness timetables.

🚧 Hydrotherapy pool closure 🚫

The hydrotherapy pool at Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre will be closed for urgent handrail maintenance from 6pm Sunday 7 June to Friday 12 June 2026.

✅ A priority lane will be available in the indoor program pool
✅ All other pools remain open and all programs continue

Stage 2 of the Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre upgrade is set to begin next month 🏊

Did you hear the news? The next round of upgrades to Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre will begin next month 🏊

We’re delivering a new heated 50 metre Olympic pool and a multi-use 25m pool with a moveable floor to support a wider range of users and programs.

The outdoor pools will close from Monday 29 June 2026 for works to commence. But don’t worry, the centre and following services will continue:

🌊 Gym and group fitness studio access
🌊 Indoor group fitness and aqua classes
🌊 Learn to Swim programs will continue in the indoor pools
🌊 Recreation and lap swimming will remain available in the indoor pools
🌊 The new Splash Pad and upgraded Mushroom Pool will open during the summer season
