On my right side I have the typical issue of shifting the hips too much and not side flexing enough. The way I deal with it is doing only the side flexion first and then add as little side shift as required to get to one arm. It may not be pretty but helps me to get into an acceptable shape. Try it!

What I like about training in .circusschool is that I get to do things I haven’t done in a long time (actually most things I’ve never done before). I’ll reintroduce these to my practice routine to achieve a presentable form.
