Perfect Sunday at SADAC Field. 🤙
Maiden flight for Lindsay’s nice, new, Seagull Chipmunk with 20cc RCGF. Nice one, Lindsay.
Lady visitor having some more training flights and showing excellent aptitude and enthusiasm. Unfortunately, she is relocating interstate very soon.
A long past member who is re-engaging.
One of our juniors having some great training flights.
A bit of control line action, too.
Thanks to all.

Congratulations to Atti (Arty) today on achieving his Bronze Wings solo rating.
Atti has applied himself extremely well to the task and was justifiably proud to easily attain this milestone in a short time. All without so much as a scratch on his E-flite Apprentice STS plane.
Well deserved, Atti.
Atti is pictured receiving his Wings from SADAC President Ian Byers (left) along with his Instructor, Stephen Green.
We look forward to joining Atti in his enthusiastic future flying at SADAC Field.
We have other students, including a seven year old lad, in training at SADAC.

What a ripper day at SADAC Field. 👌
Nature turned on a spectacular day of perfect flying conditions.
Among the good turnout were several of our trainees who all had multiple flights.
Steve Slater had a new E-Flite RJG Decathlon for its maiden flight and numerous subsequent flights. A really nice plane. Stephen is very pleased with it, and is an ideal step for him from his Mini Apprentices.
This model is fashioned after that of RJ Gritter, a USA aerobatic pilot who does spectacular, low level aerobatics in his Decathlon. Gritter grew up flying R/C.

Andrew was out for some instruction which was provided by SADAC Instructor Ian Byers. Andrew had a great time.
Lindsay had a nice new Ugly Stick of some sort with a Saito 4 Stroke that made its first flight. Nice plane. :)
Paul had a couple of flights on his nice Seagull Arising Neo 20cc trainer.
It has been so enjoyable to have a great run of such calm weather to fly in after enduring the exceptionally windy Spring and Summer.
Pictured are Stephen with his new Decathlon, and Andrew with his Apprentice STS and Ian Byers.
A few casual visitors dropped in the see aeromodelling in the flesh. Visitors are always welcome and welcomed and often offered a flight on a Club trainer.
Thanks all for the great day.

Great morning with excellent flying conditions at SADAC Field today.
Among activities were the ongoing training for those making their way toward solo status.
Seven year old Hughie had his first flights on his new Apprentice STS with 'buddy system' and acquitted himself well, learning some new techniques. Listened to his instructor and implemented the suggested improvements. Great work, young fella! His Dad will share the plane on their paths to solo.
Oh, and it's not bad when you can say your plane was acquired from a current World Champion! Thanks, Seth. 😁
Paul Bennett is now actively working his way back into flying and today maidened his new trainer, A Seagull Models Arising Neo 20cc with an electric start 20 cc petrol engine. The plane flew perfectly and Paul had a couple of sessions flying great circuits. He will be back for more asap. Well done. You'll be solo soon.
Plenty of other general flying by those enjoying the many recent days of dead calm weather that is so enjoyable to fly in.

SADAC's past long time Member, Scott 'Rowdy' Matthews', has generated a remarkably good music video to celebrate the status of his 1:1 scale, almost scratch built, Sopwith Camel.
One Day Camel You will Fly Music
Just take in the words. Sopwith camel, waiting for the sky.

Excellent flying conditions at SADAC Field today.
Among those in attendance were Chris and Seth Huntingford. They had recently acquired a very nice 104" Extreme Flight Extra NG that Seth was flying around with the usual competence.
While Seth was there, he was presented with the previously nominated Graeme Jackson Achievement Award for having achieved World Junior Championship status in F3A aerobatics. Fair to say it was well earned.
Young Jack took delivery of a nice ParkZone Extra 300 that had been passed on to him by a retired flyer. Lovely plane for Jack to have and he had several flights with it and very pleased. Thank you, Andrew T. 👌
We also had a couple of student pilots on their paths to solo status.
A very nice flying session in general. :)

Alan arrived today with the latest of the endless output from his 3D printer.
It is fair to say the the probability of real success from the myriad 3D planes that are brought to the field is pretty low! That said, this is one of the rippers. Reasonably light weight. Ample power from the twin 50mm EDFs, and flew really smoothly. It just 'worked'.
Top job, Alan!
