First time all our fighters medalled at competition this weekend š
š„
š„ Jez ā Silver (No Gi)
š„ Tim ā Silver (Gi)
š„ Tegan ā Silver (Gi)
š„ Ellen ā Bronze (Gi)
š„ Tommy ā Bronze (Gi)
For a small country club, these are incredible results.
But the medals are only part of the story.
Competition outcomes can come down to timing, skill, composure ā and sometimes the smallest moment where someone gives an inch. Thatās sport.
What matters most to me is the culture behind the results.
A team environment where people genuinely support one another, train hard together, celebrate growth, and keep showing up for each other consistently. That kind of culture creates confidence, resilience, and connection far beyond competition mats.
The real achievement isnāt just building successful athletes.
Itās building good humans and a strong community.
Proud coach. Proud team. š

Our teens stepped up into the adult divisions this year and showed serious grit, courage, and heart on the mats. Thatās what this sport is about ā challenging yourself, embracing discomfort, and growing through it.
One thing about comp life ā you never walk away empty handed. Sometimes itās medals, sometimes itās lessons. When things donāt go your way, it just builds hunger, resilience, and toughness for the next one.
Huge thanks to our teammates who turned up, coached, cornered, supported, and helped get the competitors ready. That team support means everything š
Proud of everyone who stepped up and represented Frontline with heart this weekend š„

Thereās something different about combat sports in a small community.
You donāt just train beside people⦠you grow beside them.
At Frontline BJJ and MT, we have every skill level on the mats. First timers. Nervous beginners. Busy parents. Teenagers finding confidence. Fighters chasing podiums. Veterans helping the next generation. And every single one matters.
Thatās what Iām most proud of.
The culture.
The way our athletes look after each other. Push each other. Check in on each other. Laugh together after hard rounds. The belonging. The purpose. The accountability. The resilience being built quietly every single session.
Several of our fighters are heading to States this weekend and I couldnāt be prouder of the commitment theyāve shown ā not just to themselves, but to their team mates and this club.
Win, lose or draw, stepping onto those mats takes guts. And our crew has guts in bucketloads.
Thank you to every athlete, coach, parent and supporter who keeps showing up for each other. That loyalty and commitment is what builds strong humans, not just good fighters.
Proud of our BJJ athletes.
Proud of our MT athletes.
Proud of this team.
Proud of this culture.
Small town.
Big heart.
Staunch crew.

Fridays. 1730. No-Gi. No excuses.
Coach Maximus is on the mats, and the pace? Relentless.
This isnāt a āstand around and think about itā sessionāthis is movement, pressure, and learning how to stay sharp when your lungs are questioning your life choices.
What I rate most? Weāre bringing the young guns through.
Theyāre stepping up, leading parts of the session, finding their voice, and building confidence under pressure. Thatās how you grow a teamānot just athletes, but leaders.
No-Gi sharpens everything:
ā Speed
ā Scramble awareness
ā Grip independence
ā Real-time problem solving
It strips it back. No handles. No hiding. Just skill.
If you want to get betterāactually betterāthis is where you need to be.
Good people. Hard rounds. Zero ego.
Come join the team. Or keep watching from the sidelines.

No gimmicks. No made-up belts. No cosplay.
Just real coaching, real experience, and people whoāve actually put the rounds in.
On these mats, weāre not here to sell hype ā weāre here to build humans.
Stronger. Calmer. More capable.
We teach control before chaos.
Skill before ego.
Safety before everything.
At the end of the day, just train where you can.
Find a place that challenges you, supports you, and keeps you coming back.
If thatās us ā weāve got you.
Frontline.
Where standards matter and community comes first.
No BS. Ever.
